A clearer story for a new feature.
How we partnered with Relay to write, storyboard, and produce a high-conversion product explainer video showing their fintech API in motion.
The challenge
Relay was launching their multi-account settlement API, a highly technical service designed for developers and financial product managers. Standard copywriting struggled to capture the speed and intelligence of the API. They needed an explainer video that could make their product feel tangible and easy to understand in under 90 seconds.
1. Visual Copywriting & Storyboards
We began by translating technical database structures into visual analogies. We wrote a concise script focused on user outcomes, creating a storyboard grid that matched voiceover timing with animations.
2. Modern motion design
We designed custom visual assets representing their API data flow, and built animated product interface components in Figma. We animated these elements smoothly using high-framerate transitions and soft, premium device mockups.
3. Sound mix & final polish
We combined a crisp voiceover track, ambient tech background music, and UI sound effects (clicks, typing, success pings) to make the animation feel alive and highly professional.
